In 2015, I spent eight weeks working at the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Arts Centre in the Northern Territory, Australia, through the Jawun Indigenous Corporate Partnerships program.
I initiated and redesigned the Arts Centre’s outdated and difficult-to-manage website. I developed a user-friendly platform featuring new photography and launched an online store called Print Space. This not only enhanced the Centre’s digital presence and streamlined content management, but also created a new revenue stream through art sales.
Buku-Larrnggay Mulka is home to some of the world’s most renowned Indigenous art, and this project played a key role in elevating its digital presence. It improved content management, enhanced accessibility to the art globally, and opened a new revenue stream—supporting both cultural visibility and the Centre’s long-term sustainability.
